"THE NEWMARKET ERA" of October 11, 1897 reported "Isaac Proctor was a pioneerin Mariposa, where he cleared his first farm, afterwards residing for a short time in Tecumseth and for many years in King Township, where he purchased a farmfrom Kettleby. Mr. Proctor also bought two lots on Yonge St., near Holland Landing, formerly owned by Samuel Lount who was hung in connection with the '37 rebellion and resided there for some years previous to living with his daughter at Richmond Hill. He was a straightforward man anad honored by all who knew him." Isaac was a member of the Christian Church.
Isaac and Mary had only onedaughter, Henrietta. and one son. Which was the son-in-law and which the daughter-in-law, is unknown. One married a 'Wilson', and the other 'W. A. Sanderson.'
