1767, Sept. 29. Dennis, Joseph, Sr., of Sussex Co., will of. Sons, Joseph and Ezekiel, all real and personal estate, and they are to pay the following legacies: To son, Nathaniel, £130; son, John, £2. Executors - sons, Joseph and Ezekiel.
Witnesses - Hugh Hagerty, Joseph Barton, Patrick Haggerty. Proved 7 Apr 1770. (N.J. Arch., 33:113.)

A Plantation in the Bounds of Middletown, East-New-Jersey, near the Water Side ; containing about 150 Acres of Land, 6 Acres of Salt Meadow, a new Dwelling-House 40 Foot long, with two Brick-Chimneys, three Fire-Places, a good Cellar under it, a small Orchard, a good old House, within Call of two Grist-Mills, and two Saw-Mills ; convenient for any Tradesman, and very suitable for a Merchant; to be sold reasonable : Whoever has a Mind for the same, may apply to Joseph Dennis, living on the Premisses, or James Alexander, in New-York, who will give a good Title.
