Note on Husband: William McGillery DUNNAM
William Dunnam was born in Greene County MS. He graduated from Greene County Agricultural High School and later attended Mississippi State University. He taught school beginning in 1927 and into the 30's,. In 1927-28 he and my mother taught at Red Hill School, Greene County. He was Principal and they both taught. When WWII began he was employed by the Ingalls Shipbuilding Cor., Pascagoula, MS. Following his work in the shipyard he returned to Greene County where he was self employed and employed by the County for a while, then returned to work for Ingalls, where he was employed when he died in 1960. He was buried in Fellowship Baptist Cemetery, Greene County, MS.1
