Note on Husband: John GILES - shared note

This family group is a guess based on census data and similarity of names that in, 1830 & 1840, show children of John born prior to his marriage with Sarah. So a previous marriage is expected. John and Runyon are dated in 1850 as the same age as John's two sons. I also find no other children of that age to any other Giles that, by 1850, were living in an area from New Market to Bound Brook, to the north, to New Brunswick on the south. Further, the suggestion that his wife's maiden name is Runyon is derived from the naming convention of the time of passing on the mother's surname.
