Charles D Fraleigh
Retired Sheetmetal Worker

Charles D. Fraleigh Sr. of 56 Morris Street died unexpectedly yesterday at his home. His age was sixty-eight.

Mr. Fraleigh was a retired sheetmetal worker and roofer and was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union. He had worked in the Brooklyn Nay yard during World War II and for various contractors in this area.

Mr. Fraleigh was born in Red Hook, N.Y., a son of the late Egbert and Nellie Kipp Fraleigh. He came to Yonkers with his parents when he was seven. He attended schools in Yonkers and he was a member of St. Andrew's Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Julia Luthin Fraleigh, whom he married in Yonkers in 1914; five sons, Henry C., Charles D., Jr., Rodney N., Arthur S. and Gene W. Fraleigh all of Yonkers; a daughter, Mrs. James (Grace) McPolin of Lockport, Ill.; four grandchildren, a brother, Russell Fraleigh of Yonkers; and a sister, Mrs T. A. Smith of Flushing, L.I.
