Additional Information

Will (1) This Will which is recorded in Will Bk. 2 pg 505 Bladen Co. Court Rec. was filed with Court on 13 May 1980. It corrects the mistake that was made when the Will was re-copied after a Courthouse fire. In Will Bk. 2 pg.271-272 , the date of 1792 was written in the re-copy rather than 1772 which is in the original Will. The Original Will is fortunately still in the possession of a Singletary descendant. I examined this Will myself when I went with them to the count house on May 13, 1980 to have it re-recorded in Will Bk 2 pg. 505. The date is clearly 1772.

Pictured here is the tombstone for Sarah Singletary Bryan. She is a daughter of Joseph & Mary FitzRandolph Singletary. The birth date of 1787 is incorrect.
