Thomas was a British patriot, who chose to stay with the British at the time ofthe American Revolution. He left with the last fleet out of New York, for NewBrunswick, Canada. Later he moved to Upper Canada, present day Ontario.

Anna was a sister of David Willson (1777-1866). Thomas DUNHAM was the son of Isaac Donham (c.1737-alive 1802) and Anne Gach/Gauge (1732- ) of Woodbridge, New Jersey. They arrived in New Brunswick in 1783 and Thomas moved to Upper Canada in 1803. Elizabeth TRAVISS was the daughter of William TRAVISS (c.1744-1779) and ELizabeth (?Whitney) (c. 1750-alive 1802) of Westchester Co., New York.

Betsy, was probably christened "Elizabeth", but after the fashion of the times,was called "Betsy". She died at the age of 81 years, 1 month and 1 day.
