Robert was a Hell raiser from Birth, He was always inspecting things. Looking into places were he should not be looking...What do I mean by this lets see It was on a warm day the humidtiy was really tight. All of the kids in neighborhood were busy with keeping cool, but Robert , Burr Cooper and Charles Miller were doing some more of thier nosy snoopy businness.. Burr kept saying dad said to keep out of the garage, and charles and Robert looking at some long round tubes, not really long, but He picked up the hammer and was going to smash them, Burr left the garage, Charles was about to leave and had his back to Robert, and he went bang and the think blow small pieces of metal around, Charles got one in the back of his ear, they smarted felt like little pebbles hitting you. Robert strolled on home.. I was standing by the roadway, and every time his heart beat the blood would spurt out of the many little holes in his body. His face the hole front of his shirt was pure red with blood. YE GADS he had shot off a cape to set of dyomite. He was like a leaking seive..Burr had a few in his back, Charles had some on back and side..But the big what if !!!!There had been some real sticks of dyomite..who knows.

To this day he is still picking out pieces of metal..The other two have passed on as of this writing. But Robert has done some wild and harry things..he's been run over by a Grayhound Bus.. Showered a mountian side wilth 500, penny postcards. this happened while going thru the Smokey mt. he missed a turn on the mountain side and over he went suitcase burst open and their they go..

He was in the Navy, thru W. W.-11,
