Edgar was a lawyer in Chicago in 1880 and also Evanston Ill. His first father-in-Law was also an Attorney. When he married he lived on 13 VanBuren St. in Chicago. He married the 2nd time and most likely moved and married and livied in Evanston Ill.

He was buried in Oakwood Cemetery along side of his parents.

THE LATE MRS. TERHUNE

Mrs. Nellie Pratt Terhunes died last Thrus, at her late residence #13 E. VanBuren St. age 29 years. Mrs. Terhune was wife of Edgar Terhune, A well known lawyer of this city and dau of Lorin Grant Pratt, the Brilliant Att. who died in this city in 1881.

She leaves a husband, a son of temder age, a mother and sister who are deeply stricken with he sudden and untimely demise. Born in Peoria buried in Peoria, beside her father.

The following from the chicago Inter Ocean in regard to the death of Mrs. Terhune, who a Nellie Pratt was born and spent her girlhood in Peoria, will be interent.

Died, Tuesday, November 6, at her reidence, No 16 East Van Buren street, Mrs. Nellie Pratt Terhune age 29. Mrs Terhune was the wife of Edgar Terhune a well-known Lawyer of this city, and daughter of the daughter of the late Lorin Grant Pratt, the brilliant, active and successful attorney, who died in this city in September of 1881. Mrs Terhune inherited to a large extent, the quickness of thought and brightness of expression which charaterized ( next line is unreadable) she leaves a husband and son of most tender age, a mother and sister who are deeply stricken with her sudden and untimley demise, Her work is done and in all her relations of wife, mother, daughter and sister her part was well performed.

True friends will Friday evening, escort her remains to Peoria, her native city where on Saturday morning in the family burial lot, they will kindly, lovingly, and tenderly lay her to rest beside her father whom she so much admired
