John was listed as a Revolutionary War soldier in Virginia. The went on to Tennessee and Alabama and settled 2 miles south of Huntsville on a farm; Jane died there 1810 and John 3 March 1839 (from family correspondence with Stanley R. Williams, Prescott Arizona in 1980)
