According to Stanley R. Williams manuscript, David and his wife, Agnes, were members of Hopewell Church in 1742, when they and others living in Bethlehem Twp. were dismissed to form a church there.

Later, Kingwood Baptist Records indicate:

Agnes Drake Dismissed 8 Dec 1760

David Drake Excommunicated 21 June 1762

David was not named in Benjamin's will of 1763.
